My absolute favorite is Jim Shaw’s: The End is Here at The New Museum. I LOVE his work – it’s a great amalgam of pop culture, cartooning, thrift store finds. The 4th floor installation is phenomenal.

MoMA PS 1: Greater New York is essential viewing (every 5 years) for its perspective on what is happening in the art world in NY. Be warned: it’s an uneven, messy show but I loved many of the installations! Lutz Bacher’s Magic Mountain will be the most instagrammed image from the show. Other favorites included: Christine Sun Kim, William Villalongo, Ajay Kurian, Liene Bosque and KIOSK.
22-25 Jackson Ave. at the intersection of 46th Ave.

Picasso Sculpture Show at MoMA is a show I had not expected to like as much as I did. It illustrates Picasso’s playful and whimsical side. The scope and range of his work is extraordinary. Will be very influential I predict!
MoMA, 11 West 53rd Street
