I’ve written about this before (July 2015) and must say that after the most recent, totally blah WWDC event, I continue to worry about what’s going on at Apple. They seem to have lost their way and sadly are becoming also-rans in the tech race especially when contrasted with what Samsung is doing.
That said, I’m not yet ready to ditch my iPhone and Mac products, but numerous visits to the new Samsung experiential store (837 Washington Street, Manhattan), have made me question my blind loyalty to Apple.
My perception of the two brands has flipflopped – with Samsung on the ascendancy. Everything about Samsung currently seems fresher, cooler and more tech-forward. And I’m not the only one who thinks this: they were just named Marketer of the Year at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Wake Up Apple, before it’s too late!!
