Dominique Ansel (the cronut creator) has a new smash hit: Burrata Soft Serve Ice Cream!!!

The soft serve window is at the side of the Kitchen.

I recommend the swirl of the two flavors DEFINITELY served in a cup!!

Seriously, the best ice cream I’ve ever had.  It’s soft serve, made with whole milk (not powdered) and there are only two flavors.  I got the swirl combining both – and I got them served in a cup which I highly recommend. The cone melts before you finish it – super messy. It’s $7 a serving and worth every penny.

Let me tell you about the two flavors:

Burrata soft serve comes with balsamic caramel, microbasil and whole strawberry confit.

The Gianduja soft serve is a hazelnut milk chocolate with salted-hazelnut brittle, orange mist, and sea salt toppings.

The soft-serve window is located at the Dutch door on the side of Dominique Ansel Kitchen at 137 Seventh Avenue South between 10th and Charles streets. I’ve heard they’re only open Friday-Sunday but I can’t imagine that they will not open the rest of the week when they are so popular.

The most innovative and delicious ice creams I’ve had in a long time.

The cones that are made in-house look amazing but melt way before you get done eating the ice cream.
