Love this new work from ad agency RPA for Intuit’s QuickBooks Online Accountant. The goal of the campaign was to familiarize high profile accountants (and their small business clients) with the software. My friend, Joycie Weatherby, the experiential director at the agency, worked on the project which was just featured on CONTAGIOUS I/O. So kudos to all involved including the experiential culinary studio Bompas & Parr, event venues The Fig House and Terra Gallery, Coast Graphic Services, and catering company roomforty.
Here are three highlights for me:
The campaign is completely built around accountants and food. Especially loved the name: Asset, A QuickBooks Kitchen/ The World’s First Accountants-Only Restaurant (how cool and weird is that!!). Check out the website they built to RSVP and explain the concept – really fabulous!!
The menu was inspired by the time-saving features of the software e.g. ‘The Cloud Cocktail’ made with gin and tonic-infused vapor symbolized working in the cloud, while a dessert of ‘Instantaneous Ice Cream’ created with liquid nitrogen highlighted the software’s instant client summary feature. Every course mapped back to a different feature of the product.
The accountants’ interest was peaked up to the point where they wished there was product on hand to do demos. They said ‘This is great. Next time bring the product too!’
