NY Festival of Light @ Manhattan Bridge Anchorage

Accidentally discovered this last nite while in Dumbo checking out some shows. It’s the first of what is expected to become an annual event in NYC. This year it’s running November 6, 7 and 8. Twenty artists from around the world who work in light installations, illuminated sculptures and wearable light-up costumes are involved but artists were not easily identifiable. John Ensor Parker gives a great interview in this WSJ piece and the organizer is Liam O’Braion. More of my (not very good) pics are below and I’ve also included a few of the images that Filip Wolak took for Time Out
