Attended the Bitten Food Conference this past Friday. Interesting topics but what really blew me away was how many of the speakers spent most of their time talking to the screen instead of the audience. DO NOT DO THIS!!!
On the brighter side, fantastic presentations by Flynn McGarry (the 17 year old chef from California), Lucas Denton of the Brownsville Project, Niki Russ Federman of Russ & Daughters, Kwame Onwuachi, and Nicholas Coleman (the oleologist at Eataly).
