The Trolls Experience: Fun For Kids And Cool For Adults!

This immersive experience is based on DreamWorks’ animated movie Trolls and the Netflix series, Trolls: The Beat Goes On.

The Trolls Experience has been open since late last year but only recently got on my radar.

It’s geared to families with young kids, but I know quite a few 30 and 40-somethings who would LOVE this. The visuals, the colors, the interactive technology are all phenomenal.

It’s a bit pricey at $24 per adult. But that’s significantly less than when it first opened when tickets were $40 per person.

Tip: Avoid the VIP options for troll hair and make-up. The kids did not seem to be into this at all.  Save your money for the gift shop.

Based on my visit, surrounded by about twenty or thirty kids, the high-five interactive screen was the big winner (make sure you watch the video of it below, it’s a fantastic concept!).

Scroll down for pics and video.

The Trolls Experience is located at 218 West 57th Street. It’s open from 10 am – 4 pm. CLOSED on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Up the color-changing escalator, and the fun begins!

High-Five: The most popular experience! WATCH THIS!

Put your 3-D Goggles on for the “Poppy’s Best Day Ever!” celebration. My video doesn’t do it justice but you get a feel for it.

As described by City Guide: “incredible technology and 3D screen that demonstrates more depth and truer colors than what you’ve ever seen before. Creatures come flying off the screen.

Make sure you get your “experience photo” before you leave.

Bottom Line.

Kudos to Dreamworks, Feld Entertainment and most of all those fantastic trolls for a very fun and interactive experience for kids and adults.

It’s a bit expensive at $24 per person, but if you’ve got the dough, it’s a fun couple of hours. It’s definitely a step above most of the Instagram events I’ve been to lately.
