Truck art is the next big thing as street artists forego walls for wheels

I’ve been following my friend, Mary Clarke, on instagram for years and have seen her increasingly document truck art around NYC.  She has a great eye and instinct for new and emerging trends. And now I see that she’s not alone. A new Spanish project, the Truck Art Project features work from leading contemporary artists on Palibex’s fleet of trucks, thanks to an initiative from Palibex CEO and art collector Jaime Colsa in collaboration with Madrid’s Iam Gallery.

In LA meanwhile, street artist MEAR ONE (Kalen Ockerman) is collaborating with Jam in the Van, the world’s first solar powered mobile music studio and performance session platform. Link here.

See below for pics from these projects – and special thanks to Mary Clarke for letting me use her photos.
