Had my first TRX class this past week and LOVE it. If you’re in reasonably good shape, it seems easy – but wow, did I ever feel it the next day!!! Muscles I did not even know I had! The class meets once a week for 45 minutes and it’s $180 for 8 sessions. And our instructor is a doll!!

For the few of you who may not know what TRX is: It’s strength training that uses a system of ropes and webbing called a “suspension trainer” to allow users to work against their own body weight. Randy Hetrick, a former Navy Seal and Stanford MBA graduate, developed the Total Resistance eXercise (TRX) equipment and the associated Suspension Training bodyweight exercises in the 1990s, and started marketing it in 2005. And now in 2016, I’m doing it – definitely not ahead of the curve when it comes to workouts!!
